Sessions Registration

Nonsuch Park Forest School Nursery Lodge Daily Sessions and Registration

Forest School Options:

  • Full Day = 8.00am – 4.30pm

To ensure your child gains the utmost benefit from their Forest School experience, it is essential for them to attend a minimum of two full days. Each day is filled with adventure and engagement, starting with breakfast around the fire pit at 8 am. The children spend plenty of time outside in the parkland until home time at 4:30 pm, with the final hour again around the fire pit, where they enjoy singing and sharing stories and laughter.

During their time at Forest School, your child will have a hot lunch in the company of their peers, using utensils to eat, and they can serve themselves if they wish for more. This environment fosters conversation and camaraderie among the children. A day at Forest School goes beyond simple childcare; it is an opportunity for fun and learning.

To secure your child’s place, a deposit of £250 is required. Please note that £50 of this amount is a non-refundable administration fee (when applicable). Once your child starts at Nonsuch Park Forest School and completes their journey, the deposit of £200 will be refunded, provided there are no outstanding fees. This refund will be included in your final invoice when your child leaves the school.

Additional Service Fees

Government Funding, known as EYFE, can only be utilised for a limited number of hours each day for your child, therefore hours outside of the funded time will be payable. It also does not cover all aspects of providing a comprehensive Forest School experience. Children are taken on outings up to twice a day, and we provide specialised equipment and tailored staff training, including training specifically for Forest Schools. We also ensure nutritious meals with child-friendly menus and healthy snacks are available.

The Additional Service Fee encompasses the extracurricular activities we offer, such as Playball, Linguatots, Tiny Tunes, and Sports Play. Additionally, this fee covers various consumables and our Famly App, which allows you and your family to stay updated on your child’s daily activities. Normal fees will apply on non EYEF days.

Extended Funding 30 hours and Working Parents Funding

We do offer Extended Funding places and Working Parents Funded Places. Parents / Carers will need to be eligible and apply through the ”Childcare Choices website”. You would then receive a Code along with your National Insurance Number for the school to claim this on your behalf.

We are registered with the Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme and they will have our details. Please give them our setting name and address and we will receive your payments automatically. Please remember invoices are due at the beginning of the month.

We can offer a limited number of free places, with our business covering all costs not funded by the government. Your child’s day will utilise only the available Funded Hours.
